Not to be forgotten, welder is a role that women held in the two world wars, during which the absence of many men called to fight, resulted in an increase in the number of women in the metal and metallurgical sector. This therefore led to women filling roles such as welder and mechanic as early as 1914.
For example, as seen in the photo below, during World War II women in the United States worked in the construction and repair of ships used in World War II.

True, in factories and Vocational Schools women are often a minority, but this is due to an outdated view of the world of work and training.
A society that persists in thinking and representing the world of factory, construction, and manual labor as a man's world is an exclusionary society.
