The Welding License confers the qualification of qualified welder according to European and international reference standards, certifies the welder and his or her ability to weld and issues the so-called INTERNATIONAL WELDING PATENT.
The Welding License differs from the many welding certificates and attestations because it must be issued by a certified and internationally recognized body. Our School has important partnerships with the best International Certifying Bodies and that at the end of our courses and after the final exam deliver the Welding License to the welder.
Companies around the world always ask the welder before hiring if he or she has a welding license issued by an internationally recognized body; only if the welder has a welding license do they ask him or her to take a welding test at their workshop.
Our welding school is the oldest in Italy, and in the last 30 years of courses conducted, we have collected all the welding tests required for the welding license exam and the tests required by companies before hiring and put them into the syllabus of our courses, so as to prepare the trainee to pass the exams they are given.
The Welding License according to standards UNI EN ISO 9606-1 can be obtained in two ways:
- Taking a professional welding course that teaches how to weld and pass the exam
- Taking the exam directly if you already know how to weld perfectly
If the operator already knows how to weld well and therefore already possesses important technical welding skills that do not admit of defects some to welding, he or she may take the exam directly, without attending the course.
The welder's skills can only be assessed by performing a weld in front of a welding inspector.
It should be emphasized that the Welding License Examination is subject to strict inspection, first visually and then radiographically or by breaking test of the welded piece by the Welding Inspector of the Certifying Body, so there are no half measures, the weld must be perfect and without any defect, otherwise the license is not issued.
For the purpose of weld evaluation, a joint is welded, then subjected to the laboratory tests required by the regulations for the reference welding license.
Successful completion of the welding test, which must therefore be flawless, enables final certification.
There are severalreference standards related to the certification of a welder:
UNI, EN, ASME, DIN, PED, MIL etc;
Different welding methods and processes: MIG, MAG, TIG, coated electrode, ect;
For different types of materials: carbon steel (iron), stainless steel, aluminum, titanium etc;
For different thicknesses, positions, and technologies.
The welder's license is valid for three years; after the three years have elapsed, the welder will have to renew the license, but the renewal process is very quick and inexpensive.

There are no recommendations for receiving a welding license, they are worth as much as the many hours of welding training, our courses are very hands-on, you weld continuously for more than a month with different techniques, machines and positions, until you are ready for the final exam.
Fill out the form with your details and you will be contacted in a very short time by our School who will provide you with all the information you need.
